Mythbody
is a call to remember our place within the tapestry of
the natural world and our animal kin. It is an invitation to remember how myths can guide us into our embodied knowing and inner wisdom.
This journey beckons you to tend to your own personal myths, the ones that anchor you into connection and belonging.
In this journey we are called to remember our ancient wisdom keepers in ocean, land, fire and wind. To sit with them and to lean into their stories as we re:remember our animate connection with them. As we meet our kin in curiosity, we in turn remember how to deeply listen within
:
asking what myths are living in my bones and marrow?
what threads of myth are weaving in my heart and soul
In this journey we will be working with the Myth of The Selkie. A ancient archetypal story of shape shifting women.
In this Celtic telling she has a wild seal skin. This myth explores her loss of her wild skin and how she walked her self home within and in the natural world.
Additionally, the telling of the story will weave in the archetype of the Cailleach and her animal kin the cormorant. She is the tender of grief, well springs and wild weathers.
This myth holds archetypal wisdom in water, oceanic animal kin, our return home to grief (keening) and our felt belonging in body and land.

Mythbody is a invitation to connect to the story of the Selkie and tend to your own personal myth.

Testimonials
Sarah weaves together myth, inner journeying and art taking us deep into our ancestral souls. Such a deep and beautiful experience that carried me through the winter solstice and gave expression to my inner world. A wonderful facilitator and a beautiful sharing of journey with beautiful souls, thank you Sarah.
-Elaine
Sarahs workshop experience was sacred magic. I felt I was stepping into something ancient. Storytelling with hands that wove the words like golden strings allowing me to travel to places within me and my imagination layered with the earth and her elements : sea, land, magic… this was then further explored in our bodies.
I found a part of myself, a powerful part of myself. She emerged, like the selkie, her truth and her needs exposed and shined upon by the silver moon.
