Art Counselling is a therapeutic approach that supports health and wellbeing. Sometimes children do not have the words to talk about their life experiences, relational challenges, or emotional and social difficulties. Art counselling gives them a voice and a space to share, explore, and build inner resilience.
Through creative play and the art-making process, young people are able to explore their inner and outer challenges in a trauma-informed and gentle way. Through creative exploration, they can develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences.

Who This Support Is For
We all go through times of difficulty in life, including periods of change, transition, grief, and relational challenges. Children and young people are no different, and at times may need additional support to help them navigate these experiences.
I have experience supporting children, who may be navigating emotional, relational, behavioural, or mental health challenges.
This may include anxiety, overwhelm, or emotional dysregulation; low mood, depression, or withdrawal; ADHD, neurodivergence, or sensory sensitivities; friendship difficulties, bullying, or social isolation; anger or frustration; or difficulties expressing and regulating emotions. I also support those experiencing grief, trauma, family change, or significant life transitions.
Therapeutic Support is tailored to the individual, taking into account their emotional needs, interests, developmental stage and strengths. Each session will work with different creative and sensorimotor therapies
What I offer
One to One
Individual sessions offer a safe and supportive space for children to explore emotions, experiences, and challenges through creativity, play, and connection with the natural world.
Group Sessions
Therapeutic group sessions are designed around specific themes identified within the school community, such as emotional regulation, anxiety, self-esteem, friendships, or transitions.
I offer a sliding scale fee structure to help make support as accessible as possible for schools, families, and local communities.
Individual one-to-one sessions are charged at
€40 - €75 per 60-minute session.
To support consistency, therapeutic progress, and the development of trust and relationship, I recommend an initial block of six sessions.
From here, support can be gently reviewed together and, where helpful, extended to eight, twelve sessions, or more, depending on the child’s needs and pace.
